Our Fifth Graders mentored our Kindergarteners while doing some Halloweened themed learning activities. Each Kindergartener was partnered up with a Fifth Grader that escorted them to each station and helped with math facts, colors, letters, fine motor skilled activities, etc. We're so proud of our Fifth Graders for being positive role models!
Pictured here is our "Caramel Apple" station that proved to be our most popular on Thursday, October 27th. We hosted our Annual Title 1 Parent Meeting and many families made it to participate in the Fall themed activities. We also shared in eating some yummy soups that were prepared by our West Prep staff. Additionally, parents attended an informational meeting about the purpose and plan for Title 1 implementation and learned some strategies for all stakeholders to participate in the success of each child!
Winners were honored at our Character Trait Assembly for displaying Respect and Responsibility. We also had a special guest, Fireman Wright, to address the student body and lead a question and answer segment.

West Preparatory Academy will be CLOSED on September 15th and September 16th for a Teacher Professional Development. We apologize for the late notice, but we will come away with strategies to improve instruction. Also, there will be no before or after care available on those days.
